Stinking Pond-11 Point River

Here is a quick drawing I did of Stinking Pond on the Eleven Point River. Its only 5 X 7 inches in size and took a couple hours.

Scrapped the watercolor for now

I have a drawing of the school house building on a type of paper that is too weak for watercolor. So I decided to go head and finish it with pencil. I'm about 4 hours in.

Watercolor first try

I've been working toward doing a watercolor of the school house. Yesterday I drew an outline of the school house. Its a little hard to see.

I decided to do a watercolor test on another sheet of paper so as not to ruin the sketch above. It appears that it was a good move. I think I'm going to have to practice a little bit.
